Brown Bear Supports Our Troops!

National Guard & Reserve Support

We are proud to support our guard and reserve troops through membership in ESGR, Employer Support of Guard and Reserve. Many of our employees have been military members, and we have a great deal of respect for the level of commitment required.

We Support Guard & Reserve

We proudly support Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). ESGR, was established in 1972 to promote cooperation between members and their employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment.

ESGR has served our country for more than 40 years, fostering a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States. These citizen warriors could not defend and protect us at home and abroad without the continued promise of meaningful civilian employment for themselves and their families.

ESGR has continued to adapt to meet the needs of Reserve Component members, their families and America’s employers by joining forces with a network of other national, state and local government and professional trade organizations as together, We All Serve!

Employment Commitment

Brown Bear Car Wash is committed to supporting our troops including our Guard and Reserve members.

Flexible Schedules

Our employees enjoy scheduling around military commitments so they can defend our country at home and abroad.

Positive Culture

Our work culture is positive, encouraging and fun. Our culture helps military service members balance the demands of their service with a profitable career.

Free Car Washes for Veterans on November 11

In affiliation with Grace For Vets, as a way of saying “THANK YOU” to our military, Brown Bear Car Wash will offer a FREE Beary Clean car wash to all current or former members of the military on Veterans Day, November 11, from 8 AM to 8 PM at our Tunnel Car Washes.

The offer operates on an honor system and no verification or documentation is required. Drivers should identify themselves as a current or former member of the military to the wash attendant upon arrival.

“The Veterans Day event is our way of demonstrating appreciation for those who currently serve our country and have made sacrifices on behalf of all of us,” says Brown Bear Car Wash President Victor Odermat, who is a proud United States Marine Corps veteran. “It reflects our bond to the communities we serve, including a large armed services presence here.”

Puget Sound Honor Flight

Brown Bear Car Wash will proudly donate $1 for each car washed on Veterans Day to support Puget Sound Honor Flight.

Puget Sound Honor Flight’s mission is to transport Western Washington war veterans to Washington D.C., to visit and reflect at memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices.
